Amen to that. When I met Mavis 2 years ago at the Americana Conference, she was a sheer angel. And when she hit the stage to perform a version of "Will The Circle Be Unbroken." solo with Will Kimbrough on guitar,it was better than church. I have heard both Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett sing her praises as one of their favorites and I myself have been in love with her sweet spirit since I was in grade school. listening to "I'll Take You There" on the AM radio.
