New Features, Capricorn Records, Southern Rock Lists
We are happy to add a couple of new ongoing features here at GRITZ. The first is our Tribute to Capricorn Records Page, which features links to all of the articles and interviews related to the Southern record label within our archives. Please note the newly added Capricorn Records Discography, with complete listings of all the albums released between 1969 and 1979.
Also, we present our Southern Rock Lists index page, which will be updated on a regular basis. Check out the Top Albums list and the brand new Top Ten Guitarists of Southern Rock list.

Thanks guys. Look for MANY MORE lists coming soon.... Also, as you can imagine, naming only ten guitarists was quite a job... Steve Gaines for sure. Rick Medlocke, Don Barnes, Donnie and Dennis Winters, Duane Roland... So many killer players. Thanks again for the comments and for reading Gritz!

Can't argue with your list Buffalo. Although I would like to nominate Steve Gaines for honorable mention on your list of the top ten southern rock guitar slingers. I know he was only on the scene for a short period of time with Skynyrd but his chicken pickin on " I Know Little " and " his slide work on " T for Texas was incendiary!
