Charlie and Hazel Daniels Honored by Cumberland University
Nashville, Tennessee - May 5th, 2008 Cumberland University recently honored Wilson County resident and country music icon Charlie Daniels and his wife, Hazel, with the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award. The presentation took place in Lebanon, TN and was part of the University's 166th Commencement Ceremony. Charlie and Hazel were recognized because of their service and dedication to helping others within their community.
