Up and coming country music sensation Candy Coburn has released a new music video of her version of "Fire On The Mountain," and the great thing about it is that it is a duet with the late George McCorkle, the founding member of The Marshall Tucker Band that wrote the song, and a good friend of mine.
The video is produced by Bruce Wall and Directed by Tony Beazley, and features George's son Justin McCorkle on guitar, as well as some excellent clips of George playing, and even scenes of Candy at 2007's Jam 4 George.
I think everyone involved did a great job on the video, so without further delay, we are happy to share the new video tribute to our buddy George McCorkle, from Candy Coburn and friends.
Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.

PS: Speaking of George, check out the new Swampland interview with Bruce Burch, a friend and co-writer of George's who is now the director of the Music Business Program at The University of Georgia in Athens.
