ATLANTA, GA – Atlanta-based independent label King Mojo Records has announced the signing of a national distribution deal with Select-O-Hits and the August 7 release of three CDs as part of the new arrangement:
“TGZ, “Living Dangerously" Featuring: Dan Toler, the legendary guitar player formerly of The Allman Brothers Band and Dickey Betts & Great Southern, Ed Zinner the guitar power of Southern Legend and jazz pianist Ron Gary.
“Big Shanty, “Ride With The Wind" Featuring: Big Shanty, Scott Robertson, Liz Melendez, Dustin Sargent, Jack Hall (Wet Willie Band) and Col. Bruce Hampton. Nominated by Blues Critic for Best Blues Song – “Killing Fields;” and Best New Artist Debut – “Big Shanty.”
“King Mojo Allstars, Vol. 3” Featuring: TGZ, Big Shanty, Liz Melendez, Russell Gulley and Little G, Weevil. Third CD in a very popular series of label samplers, with performances in contemporary blues, roots, jazz and fusion music. The tracks from Big Shanty, Russell Gulley and Little G. Weevil are all previously unreleased.
In addition to the new releases, all titles in the King Mojo Records catalogue will now be available through Select-O-Hits. The label also plans to release new albums from Liz Melendez and Big Shanty in the fall.
