Yesterday I interviewed the great Steve Cropper. On the very same day, country legend George Jones announced Cropper's bands Booker T & The MGs and The Memphis Horns were inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame along with The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, Al Kooper and Buddy Holly's band The Crickets. The ceremony will be held in October. A memorable coincidence, indeed...
