This week NPR is streaming Bob Dylan's new Bootleg Series Vol 8--Tell Tale Signs. These rare and unreleased songs span from 1989-2006. These compositions originate from the album sessions Oh Mercy, Time Out of Mind, World Gone Wrong, Modern Times films Lucky You, North Country and various traditional and live tunes. The quality is excellent, and serves as a must buy for any Dylan fan.

Some of the songs include "Most of the Time", "Dignity", "Someday Baby", "Red River Shore", "Born In Time", "Huck's Tune", "Dreamin' of You", "32-20 Blues", "God Knows" and "Cocaine Blues" among many others. The versions of these songs sound like a different batch of tunes from a different era than the originals. These unreleased versions of old songs sound refreshing as a new Dylan album. The collection includes a 150 page book that accompanies this 2 CD 27-song tracklist due out on October 7.
