Dave Muse Leaves Marshall Tucker, New Horn Man Hired

I spoke to Doug Gray of The Marshall Tucker Band today (and in a true "Two-fer Tuesday, I also spoke with Chris Hicks), and learned that Dave Muse has left the band. Muse, who rose to national fame as a member of Firefall, has held down sax, flute and keyboard duties with Tucker since 1996. Muse will be working with his Tampa, Florida band The Dave Muse Band.

Stepping into Dave's spot with the Tucker Band is Marcus James Henderson, formerly of the band King Johnson of Macon, Georgia. Doug says, "We are really happy to have Marcus. You won't believe this guy's playing!" Chris Hicks seconded that emotion, adding "He's a great guy and a stellar show man. We are having a great time."

Good luck to our friend Dave in his future musical endeavors and tp Marcus as the newest member of The MTB!

Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.
