Billy Bob and Buffalo Talk About Boxmasters

I dreamed I was a teenage Boxmaster...

Billy Bob Thornton's ultra cool hillbilly-mod band The Boxmasters will release their debut album, a double disc set, on June 10th, just prior to embarking on their highly anticipated summer tour. The CD features one disc full of all original tunes, along with a disc full of "Thorntonized" covers liike Mott The Hoople's "Original Mixed Up Kid" and The Beatles' "I Wanna Hold Your Hand."

I decided it was a good time to touch base with our friend Billy Bob (aka: "Bud") to get the skinny on the band, the album, and exactly what a "boxmaster" is.

Keep it Real. Keep it Southern. (Like an Arkansas Razorback!)

PS: When I was waiting on Billy Bob's call today, the phone rang and it was my daughter Hannah calling from Hawaii. I blew her off because the interview was pending. When I called her back, she told me that she and her fiance had gotten married this afternoon. I just wanted to give a big shout out to my Hannah and her J.C. Congratulations, honey.
