Texas born, country legend George "The Possum" Jones prepares to go out on the road in 2007. Rehearsals begin in early January for the tour commencing in February. Jones has released 1,000 album titles (including compilations) that feature over 1,000 songs. Jones chartered 166 singles in his career...more than any other country artist .
The 75-year old Jones performs almost 100 shows a year. "The Possum's" first stop begins on February 2 in Tunica, Mississippi; dates continue through June.
