Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers have not toured Europe in 20 years. Petty is about to commence a leg of his 2012 tour in the USA. When Petty travels to Europe this summer, North Carolina, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Wilson will serve as the opening artist on the tour.
Jonathan Wilson recently released his latest album titled Gentle Spirit. Wilson has collaborated and performed with musicians such as Vetiver, Chris Robinson, The Watson Twins, Robbie Robertson, Elvis Costello, Gary Louris, Dawes and Jackson Browne.
Before the Europe dates this summer, Petty will play US dates including Broomfield, Little Rock, Albuquerque, Wichita, New Orleans, Atlanta, Orlando and Austin. This ticket will be worth the price of admission for the southern twang these guys will evoke...
