McGraw and Hill To Tour Together In June
Posted: Feb 05, 2007 Soul2Soul 2007 will be hitting the road this summer with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill joining forces again.The husband and wife duo toured last summer with the Soul2Soul II Tour doing 73 shows in 55 cities and became the highest grossing country tour in history. The tour was also the fastest selling tour for the first quarter of 2006, according to Ticketmaster. The 2006 tour ranked as the 12th highest grossing tour of all-time according to Pollstar.
McGraw and Hill's publicist said Monday that the couple "are finalizing their plans to return to the stage in 2007. It's anticipated that the tour will launch in June before wrapping in August. Specifics in regard to tour cities, venues and number of shows, have not been made available as of yet."The tour will feature new songs and productions.
Also expected is a brand new sponsor. While details of the deal haven't been announced, the sponsor is expected to have "an extremely high profile" in conjunction with the tour, as well as programs developed specifically for fans and ticket buyers, according to the publicist.
