I am really excited about our brand new, ongoing series No Holds Barred. The series will look at the stars and memories of the hey day of pro wrestling in the south, especially here in the Mid Atlantic area. I will be profiling many of the stars of the sport during the seventies and sharing my own memories of matches I was lucky enough to see live and on TV, as well as quotes from others about their favorite wrestlers and matches.
First up is a true favorite of mine, the man with the fatal heart punch, Ox Baker. Check out the profile and as always, let me know what you think. Much more to come.
Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.

Buff: Dick the Bruiser was my man. Pound for pound, one of (if not THE) toughest SOBs ever! I know he & Ox danced many times and likely went out for beers afterward. But we weren't supposed to know about that side, kayfabe being what it was then.
