Texas Southern Rockers Point Blank are back, locked and loaded for bear. This live album proves that the boys still have all their chops, even after all these years. Rusty Burns still smokes the guitar and John O’Daniel kicks ass on lead vocals. The whole band kills. Phillip Petty on bass, Buzzy Gruen on drums, Bubba Kieth on guitar, harp and vocals, Buddy Whittigton on guitar and Jeff Williams on piano. The group is as hot as ever, driving through a set that kicks off with “Back in the Alley” and “Moving” back to back.
The show features 13 Point Blank classics including “Nasty Notions,” “Lonestar Fool,” “Nicole” and their biggest hit, “Mean to Your Queenie.” Just for good measure, there is an apt cover of B.B. King's "How Blue Can You Get."
Recorded live at the Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth, Texas, September 17, 2005, Reloaded is pure Southern Rock delight, smoke and balls, the stuff that made their 2007 European Tour a huge success. Good to have you cats back. So good. What the hell did you expect?
