Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will close the New York Film Festival on October 14 with the premiere of Peter Bogdanovich's (The Last Picture Show) new film, Runnin' Down A Dream: Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
The film highlights the band's 30-year musical history from the early days in North Florida to present day stardom. Runnin' Down A Dream includes rehearsal and performance footage as well as interviews with band members.
Other interviews from the film include Stevie Nicks, Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, George Harrison, Jackson Browne, Roger McGuinn, Dave Stewart, Jeff Lynne, Rick Rubin and Johnny Depp.
