Molly Hatchet Will Be Our Next "Legends"

Coming soon to swampland.com, our next Legends of Southern Rock entry, Molly Hatchet.

From their self-titled debut album which included Danny Joe Brown, Dave Hlubek, Duane Roland, Steve Holland, Banner Thomas and Bruce Crump in the lineup, all the way to their very latest release Warriors of The Rainbow Bridge and it’s rocking single “Son of the South,” Molly Hatchet has been delivering the goods for close to 30 years. And while the lineup has changed (Bobby Ingram and Phil McCormack remain in the driver’s seats), the music has continued to be well written, and to once again use and often overused cliché, “kick ass.”

The records have always been great, from the debut album Molly Hatchet and its follow up Flirtin’ with Disaster, all the way to their 2000 release Kingdom of XII, and last year's Warriors of The Rainbow Bridge.

Swampland.com tips our Stetson to one of the most hard core Southern Rock bands ever to burn up a stage, Jacksonville, Florida’s own Molly Hatchet.

Look for newly archived interviews from Danny Joe Brown, Dave Hlubek, Duane Roland, Bobby Ingram and Riff West, along with album reviews of the band’s first and second album, as well and Kingdom of XII.

Coming soon: The Legends of Southern Rock feature on a true Southern treasure, Molly Hatchet!

Meanwhile, Keep it Real and always Keep it Southern!
