Wash Boards and Chicken Coups: The Ten Best Instrumentalists of Southern Rock

Posted: Jun 06, 2008

Let me begin by wishing everybody a GREAT weekend. Only one week until the big annual Winters Brothers Band Summer Jam. See you there!

Our latest Top Ten list runs down the ten best instrumentalists of the Southern Rock era, masters of instruments other than guitar, bass, drums and keys. Check out the list and as always, let me know what you think.

There's still time to e-mail me and enter to win the new Gator Country Live CD. Take the plunge. You may be a winner!

Keep it Real. Keep it Southern.

Wow! Just when I thought you were running out of list. As I stated before Edgar Winter Roadwork tour was unbeleivable. If you didn't stand in your seat they would throw you out. On the live album he said "if you feel like letting it out hot damn let it out." The crowd blew the roof off. How about the best songwriter or best cover of a southern rock song by a non souther rock band.
