SEC Daily Fever: Tebow Shuns The Media

Posted: Oct 28, 2009

An interesting scenario happened after the Florida win at Mississippi State; Tim Tebow did not meet with the media.

The senior quarterback, who usually seems to seek out the camera with his spirited fist pumps and fiery speeches, was nowhere to be found after a game where he only threw for 127 yards and two interceptions. A day later, his excuse was that he wanted to visit with former Gators assistant Dan Mullen, but you have to wonder how Tebow is feeling following his concussion at Kentucky.

Tebow’s performance since that hit has been rather ordinary, and it has been the Florida defense that has carried the team in their quest for a third National Title in four seasons. But if they are to repeat, the Gators will need Tebow to be at the top of his game.

Georgia has had two weeks to prepare for the ‘Cocktail Party’, and the Dawgs would love nothing more than to spoil Florida’s title hopes.
