Drive By Truckers’ Go-Go Boots Out Feb 15, 2011

The Drive By Truckers just arrived in London to prepare for a month long tour of Europe. They will be back in time for Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam in December. The Truckers’ NYE show will feature horns, Kelly Hogan, The Bindlestiff Family Circus and Patterson’s father Swamper David Hood.

On January 13, the Truckers will showcase their upcoming album, Go-Go Boots at Athens, Georgia’s, 40 Watt Club. Guests for this show will include Don Chambers and David Barbe & The Quick Hooks. The following week the Truckers begin touring in the South again. I spoke with Truckers’ graphic artist Wes Freed today, and next week we’re going on the record regarding artwork for Go-Go Boots.

In preparation for the February 15, 2011, release of Go-Go Boots, the Truckers are preparing a series of short films surrounding the songs on this new release with Jason Thrasher. More Trucker news when we talk to Wes Freed next week. Until then,
