The Sunday Sounds of Dust To Digital

The Sunday Sounds of Dust To Digital

It’s been months since I’ve written a ‘Sunday Sounds’ dispatch. Today the temperature is predicted to hit 80 degrees. I may drive to the beach and get some sand on my feet, fresh air and a little sunshine under a pale blue sky. Gospel & soul music fills the air around here...

Today’s Sunday Sounds revolves around my friend Lance Ledbetter’s inimitable Atlanta label Dust to Digital. The windows are open, and the soundtrack playing is a Rev. Johnny L. Jones release called The Hurricane That Hit Atlanta release. The formidable Dust To Digital catalogue contains some of America’s most rare and seminal music.

The coffee is hot, birds are chirping and a peaceful glow emanates all around. The spirit of this music certainly wards off any dark forces. Seek out Dust To Digital.

Peace & Soul,

James Calemine
