Swampland's Daily Duo of Reviews For 7/25/11: Ronnie Milsap and Hope Waits
Posted: Jul 25, 2011For Monday, we present two Southern artists whose travels around their native region helped to define their diverse and eclectic sensibilities. Ronnie Milsap went from the mountains of North Carolina to Nashville with stops at Atlanta and Memphis in between while Hope Waits began in New Orleans and went to South Carolina before landing in Los Angeles.
While each are at a different career point since Waits is releasing her career debut while Milsap is 40 number one hits into his, both are worthy representatives of the musical South.
