Happy Father’s Day…

…A few scattered notes from a spot overlooking some hills here in north Georgia on a warm June Sunday morning…Well, look for upcoming travel pieces along with another leg of the soul food tour in the next couple of weeks. Seek out the Traveling Wilbury’s new boxset—southern boy Tom Petty shines like a new dime.

Right now, I’m writing an article on Sly & The Family Stone pertaining to the new 7-CD collection which stands as a mean piece of art. Next, a full length feature on the great southern writer Paul Hemphill. Ah, to list the upcoming topics would not be fair…so, I’ll leave off here.
