New Van Zant CD September 18th
Posted: Jul 13, 2007On the heals of their gold CD Get Right With the Man and a Top 10 single, brothers Johnny and Donnie Van Zant are poised to release their sophomore disc My Kind of Country on September 18.
Johnny and Donnie had a hand in writing six of the 11 cuts on the new disc, which was produced by Mark Wright and Justin Niebank. Top music row tunesmiths Bob DiPiero, Rivers Rutherford, Anthony Smith, Jeffrey Steele, Craig Wiseman and others contributed songs or co-wrote with the duo.
Over the past two years Van Zant has made a firm commitment to their career as a country duo, including extensive radio tours and attendance at every industry function. They spent the first half of 2006 opening for labelmate Gretchen Wilson's Redneck Revolution tour, and they will hit the road together this fall in support of My Kind of Country.
