I'm still reeling from interviewing Jim Dickinson, Luther Dickinson, Todd Nance and James McMurtry in the last few weeks. The McMurtry interview will be up in time to coincide with his April release, Just Us Kids. Many stories on the horizon...we're just getting started.
Anyone have a perspective on the upcoming race for President? Just asking...
This evening I thought I'd put up a chapter from a novel I wrote a decade ago called Brother To Jackals. It's a mean tale not intended for the weak-hearted. In ten days or so I'll put up a few more chapters.
I'll be doing some baseball bits as the season begins with a couple special guests to add to the fun. Other upcoming news includes the latest activities of Paul Hemphill, Stanley Booth, Sam Shepard, T-Bone Burnett, STAX, Dust To Digital, jukebox chronicles, wayfaring adventures, Willie Nelson, the American farmer, Bob Hardy's new book on Townes Van Zandt, more reviews and the latest leg of the Never Ending Soul Food Tour to name a few things off the top of my head.
