A Daily Dose of Authenticity...Keith Richards...James Burton...MLK...Widespread Panic...The Black Crowes...Jim Dickinson...
4/4/08

As Spring awakens we all reflect upon the season...
Every Mystery And Manners story, news report, article, dispatch or interview in the next month will be completed in a blur of constant activity...and obligation. There's more than a few irons in the fire...
For a daily shot of the blues, here's a timeless new Keith Richards interview that shines a light on the Rolling Stones new movie among other gritty topics. Also, in reference to Keith's old friend--Jim Dickinson--another interesting bit for the day proves today's article on James Burton.
40 years ago today Martin Luther King was murdered in Memphis...
Well, tonight Widespread Panic performs their first of three nights in New York City. I'll be attending some shows and profiling the band as spring unfolds which will prove first-class fun. The Black Crowes return to the States in a couple of weeks, and then the second wave of fun rolls in. Now, it's time to prepare the next round of reviews.
Until tomorrow...
