Amoeba To Release Vintage Gram Parsons Performance(s)

On March 15, through invitation only, a listening party was conducted at South By Southwest to debut the Flying Burrito Brothers (with Gram Parsons) performing a classic show at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco in 1969.
This performance, Gram Parsons Archives Volume 1: The Flying Burrito Brothers Live at the Avalon 1969, proves as a stellar recorded show with a setlist including "Hot Burrito #1 & #2", "Sin City", "Take Me To Heart" and "Do Right Woman", among others.
Dust of rumor traces the San Fransisco based Amoeba will release another 1969 performace with the Grateful Dead serving as Parsons' backing band later this year. Amoeba plans to release this live performance(s) to commemorate Parsons' 60th birthday. For a glimpse of this event, check out this promotion. We'll keep you posted on any upcoming developments.
