A Memphis Benefit August 8

On August 8th at 6PM a benefit will take place at the Peabody Skyway in Memphis, Tennessee, for Jim Dickinson. Dickinson suffered two heart attacks earlier this summer and is now recovering. Dickinson has worked with Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Big Star, The Replacements and many more in his 50-year career.
The benefit will feature Dickinson's sons--Luther and Cody--of The North Mississippi Allstars, Amy LaVere, John Hiatt, Jimbo Mathus, Shannon McNally, Sid Selvidge, Jimmy Crosthwaite and perhaps more. There will be several more benefits for Dickinson on both coasts in the near future. This Memphis show will prove a indelible night to hear good music for a good cause. For more information contact Elizabeth Brown at Ardent Studios, 901-725-0855.

One of the masters! Hopefully he has some kind of insurance-amazing to imagine such an American icon needing benefits.....very sad. Hopefully he recovers 100%
