Swampland's Tribute To Capricorn Records

When Jerry Wexler of Atlantic Records gave Phil Walden and Frank Fenter the go-ahead to start their own Southern record company and studio in 1969, the wheels were set in motion for the beginnings of a whole new genre of rock and roll known as Southern Rock. With the signing of The Allman Brothers Band, the Macon, Georgia record company was off and running, and would soon become the melting pot for the very best Southern Rock musicians of the era.
