Swampland/Mystery And Manners Hosts Pre-Georgia-Florida Football Outing
10/22/08

On October 31, Swampland/Mystery And Manners will host a Georgia-Florida bash on Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Bruce Burch's University of Georgia Music Business Program will film and document the event. I will be interviewing Burch on camera so he can explain his indelible program's endeavors and upcoming events.

Also, I will interview barbecue masters Griffin Bufkin and Harrison Sapp of Saint Simons' Southern Soul Barbecue who will stage the event at their location. These boys will give some insight into the art of barbecue...and also dish out some fine portions.

The event will begin around 8PM. The bluegrass band Corn Pone Nation--will play under the name Cracker String Band for this event. Historically, Saint Simons serves as the meeting location for Georgia fans before the big game the next day in Jacksonville, Florida. This evening will be a vital event for all music, barbecue and football fans alike. Of course, the night of the performance is Halloween...

In the following days leading up to the event more details will revealed for those of you interested in attending. Stay tuned...
