Donnie McCormick of Eric Quincy Tate Succumbs to Cancer
Posted: Jan 11, 2009The Southern Rock world has lost yet another pioneer. Eric Quincy Tate founding member Donnie McCormick has lost his ongoing battle with cancer.
Donnie paased away last night after being very ill for several years. The famed drummer is the second member of EQT to die in just a few months. Wayne "Bear" Sauls preceeded Donnie in death on November 26, 2008.
There are no planes for a public service or visitation. There will be a celebration of his life At The Northside Tavern, Atlanta Georgia, Tuesday, Jan. 20th 2009.
