ACC Daily Fever: Another rough weekend

The negative theme continued Saturday for the ACC as Florida State lost to South Florida, while Miami and North Carolina got blown out in league games. Consequently, there are no undefeated teams left in the conference before the end of September. Additionally, Clemson lost to Mountain West foe TCU and Maryland was beaten badly by Big East opponent Rutgers.

Virginia Tech looks to be the class of the league once again, and Miami does have a chance at redemption when Oklahoma comes to town this week. But past those two, it has been a fairly weak start for the ACC in their desire for national respect.
